I have designed and developed web sites since 1995, when the World Wide Web was still very young. I have used computers to create art since I was a child, and thus the web was the perfect medium for me.
 
Very early on, I started by learning the basics of HTML and image editing. In 1996, I became employed by one of Southern Oregon's first new-media businesses, Project A. When I moved to Portland, I worked mostly as a freelance web developer and consultant.
 
I am skilled with all of the major image and illustration software packages, as well as PHP, HTML, DHTML, ASP, MySQL, and other scripting, programming, and database tools. I can create web sites entirely on my own, or manage a team of designers, developers and programmers. My main skill is bridging the functionality that people want and need in web sites with the creativity and beauty that make them more attractive.
